The Al-Ard Foundation is a Palestinian civil association dedicated to training Palestinians with the aim of cultivating strong, well-equipped individuals who can assert their access to natural resources and fundamental rights as outlined in the Charter of the United Nations and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The foundation operates within the framework of all international laws that safeguard these rights. A primary focus of the foundation is working with the most marginalized groups within impoverished and vulnerable communities, with particular attention given to children and women. Special emphasis is placed on the significant potential of youth groups, recognizing them as a pivotal force for positive change and societal development.
The foundation views youth as essential catalysts for economic and social improvement, aiming to eradicate poverty and overcome barriers that hinder individuals from achieving a secure and dignified life. The principles upheld by the Al-Ard Foundation are rooted in a commitment to the welfare of poor groups, small farmers, and producers, regardless of their religious, political or tribal affiliations. The foundation diligently works towards gender equality and equal opportunities, striving to achieve justice for all, where each individual can thrive in a safe and dignified environment. In this pursuit, the well-being of the individual human being is placed at the forefront and above all else.
