Palestinian activists in Europe launched an international campaign called Sumud Gaza. The campaign aims to strengthen steadfastness by supporting institutions and associations working within the Gaza Strip in various fields and sectors such as health, relief, agricultural development, food development, education, and culture.

Those in charge of the campaign say that the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has led to the destruction of all necessities of life, as part of a plan aimed at displacing the population. Therefore, we saw the necessity for this campaign, which aims to provide all that is needed to strengthen the steadfastness of the residents of the Gaza Strip and launch initiatives that alleviate the suffering of the population by helping find solutions to the health, relief, food and educational problems that they are facing. This will be accomplished in partnership with the institutions and associations working on the ground in the various regions of the Gaza Strip and the parties supporting the campaign.

Those who are running the campaign noted that the focus on working with effective local institutions within the Gaza Strip comes in the wake of a path that seeks to destroy Palestinian society and its institutions and subject it to occupation. These institutions represent a proven, reliable and successful operations network that has actually contributed to the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip over the past decades.

Within the framework of the campaign, support and contributions from volunteers from countries around the world will be organized to coordinate efforts to support institutions in the sector.
